The dental industry significantly contributes to global carbon emissions through the manufacturing, transportation, and disposal of oral healthcare products, as well as the energy-intensive nature of dental clinics. This lecture will explore the environmental impact of these factors and introduce strategies to minimize the carbon footprint of dental practices and save you money. By adopting sustainable materials, improving energy efficiency, and leveraging digital innovations, dental professionals can play a vital role in reducing emissions while maintaining high-quality patient care.
