Dr Ivan Ling

Dr Ling holds a public appointment at the Department of Pulmonary Physiology & Sleep Medicine of Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and also provides private consulting and reporting services with Cardio Respiratory Sleep. He provides comprehensive specialist care in all aspects of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, with subspecialty interest in the areas of lung cancer, chronic cough, hypercapnic respiratory failure, and complex sleep disordered breathing.

Dr Janina Christoforou

Dr Janina Christoforou is a registered oral medicine specialist who enjoys practicing all facets of oral medicine. She holds Fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia. She has public appointments at Perth Children’s Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and she is a Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow at UWA. She practices privately at Western Oral Medicine Group in Mount Lawley and Kalamunda and she is an active volunteer in the community.

Dr Joshua Graieg

Dr Josh Graieg is a Specialist Prosthodontist at the Brånemark Center in West Perth and Cottesloe Dental in Peppermint Grove. He completed a BDSc from the UWA and a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, a Consultant Prosthodontist with the Craniofacial Unit at Perth Children’s Hospital, and a Key Opinion Leader for Kerr / KaVo.   

 

Dr Lalima Tiwari

Dr Lalima Tiwari is an oral medicine specialist providing comprehensive care in all aspects of clinical oral medicine. She practices at Perth Oral Medicine and Dental Sleep Centre and holds a senior lecturer appointment at the UWA Dental School and is involved in training oral medicine registrars as part of the DCD Oral Medicine Program. She is a Fellow of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia, a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Australian Dental Association. Lalima has multiple peer reviewed publications on topics including oral oncology, epigenetics and orofacial pain, with a particular interest in digital healthcare.

Dr Manorika Ratnaweera

Dr. Manorika Ratnaweera is a seasoned Senior Lecturer with extensive experience in higher education and clinical dentistry. Alongside her academic roles, she has managed and practised in private dental settings, gaining substantial hands-on experience in various clinical aspects of dentistry. She’s skilled in lecturing, patient-centred care, clinical and lab research. Her strong academic background includes a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy at UWA, a JSPS Fellowship at Tsurumi University School of Dental Medicine, a PhD in Prosthodontics from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from both the University of Otago and the University of Peradeniya.

 

Dr Mohammed El-Hakim

Dr El-Hakim is an experienced general practitioner.

He has been teaching operative dentistry to the DMD students for many years in the Clinical Skills Simulation laboratory.

Dr Omar Ikram

Dr Omar Ikram was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery qualification from Otago University, Dunedin. After graduation Omar worked in private practice in New Zealand and then moved to London in the UK where he attained significant experience in endodontics.

In 2005, he completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and began specialist training in Endodontology at King's College, London. His groundbreaking research at King's, entitled 'Micro-computed tomography of tooth tissue changes following root canal treatment and post space preparation' was published in the International Endodontic Journal during his final year. This research has enabled him to lecture in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia and Malaysia.

 

After completion of specialist training he re-located to Sydney and treated the State waitlist in Sydney Dental hospital, as well as establishing Specialist Endo Crows Nest.

In 2021 he co- created a popular smart phone App called ‘EndoPrep’ - designed to help dentists plan cases and gain more enthusiasm for Endodontics.

Dr Paul Gorgolis

Dr Paul Gorgolis is a general practitioner currently in private in Wembley Downs. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In London, he developed the UK’s first multi-disciplinary general and specialist practice where patients could be comprehensively managed and treated “under one roof”. Dr Gorgolis is an experienced clinician who co-runs hands-on ceramic courses for the ADAWA and has been a lecturer and tutor to dental students at the UWA and The University of Adelaide. 

Dr Poh Hun Loh

Dr Poh Hun Loh   completed Dentistry at UWA and specialised in Prosthodontics at the Melbourne Dental School.  He has completed further additional qualifications in training and education Health Professionals.  He now divides his time between private Prosthodontic practice and teaching Prosthodontics at the UWA Dental School. Poh Hun is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists (AANZP) and has served on committees and the Academy’s leadership team.

Dr Pradeep Koppolu

Dr. Pradeep Koppolu is the Discipline Lead and Program Convener of Periodontics and Implantology at the University of Western Australia and serves as an expert reviewer for the Western Australian Health Central Human Research Ethics Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2006), a Master of Dental Surgery in Periodontics from India (2011), and a PhD in Periodontics from Malaysia. He is certified in laser dentistry by the European Medical Laser Association and UCSF School of Dentistry, USA. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and The Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA), with additional qualifications in clinical research and trial monitoring. He is a registered specialist periodontist & Implantologist in Saudi Arabia recognized by SCFHS, he has published over 125 papers, holds two patents, authored a book on research methodology, and amassed nearly 2000 citations with a Google Scholar h-index of 23.
