- Identify the conservative and aesthetic approach of using direct resin to create proportional and symmetrical peg laterals.
- Follow a step-by-step procedure to master the transformation of a resin peg lateral into an aesthetic and symmetrical lateral.
- Follow a step-by-step procedure to transform a canine into a lateral incisor.
- Demonstrate proper tooth preparation techniques and correct isolation methods.
- Acquire skills in achieving correct contours, line angles and primary and secondary anatomy for an aesthetic outcome.
- Practice the final polish to perfect the appearance of the transformed lateral.
Presenters
Dr Graieg is a Specialist Prosthodontist at the Brånemark Center in West Perth and Cottesloe Dental in Peppermint Grove. He completed a BDSc from the UWA and a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, a Consultant Prosthodontist with the Craniofacial Unit at Perth Children’s Hospital, and a Key Opinion Leader for Kerr / KaVo. His main interests are Biomimetic Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry, Minimally Invasive Prosthodontics, and both tooth and implant based Prosthodontic Rehabilitation. Josh is in private practice in West Perth
Dr McMullen is an experienced general dentist who has built her practice on a biologically-respectful and aesthetic mindset. She has recently completed a Master's of Aesthetic Dentistry from the esteemed King's College in London. She is in private practice in South Perth.
Dr Glen Liddelow completed a BDSc and a MDSc from the University of Western Australia and a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) from the University of Sydney. Glen is a lecturer and online expert advisor for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE) program, and a consultant prosthodontist at Perth Children’s Hospital for Children and Royal Perth Hospital. Dr Liddelow has presented over 300 papers and lectures both nationally and internationally and is a member of numerous university and industry boards concerned with dental education. He is the Director of the Brånemark Center Osseointegration training program in dental implants.
