The Risk Behind the Dental Handpiece (FREE EVENT)
Do you have the correct personal insurance cover? Natasha walks through each type of personal cover available to dentists Life, Total & Permanent Disability, Income Protection and Trauma Insurance explaining what each actually covers, how claims are assessed, and where policy wording can be the difference between a paid claim and a declined one.
Description
Behind every precise procedure sits a professional whose body, mind and business carry more risk than most realise. In this presentation Natasha Carlson unpacks what the data actually says about the physical, psychological and financial exposures of practising dentistry in Australia from musculoskeletal strain and burnout through to the funding gap that leaves many principals underinsured. Drawing on data from APRA, ASIC, the Council of Australian Life Insurers and the Australian Dental Journal, Natasha walks through each type of personal cover available to dentists Life, Total & Permanent Disability, Income Protection and Trauma Insurance explaining what each actually covers, how claims are assessed, and where policy wording can be the difference between a paid claim and a declined one. This is a clear eyed, practical look at protecting the asset every dental career is built on: you.
