Description
This LGBTIQA+ 101 is an approachable workshop designed to give foundational knowledge around queer populations. The session focuses on sexuality, gender expression, identity, and biological sex in a way that is accessible for professionals. Common themes of experience such as exposure to stigma and discrimination and how that can present itself in populations will be covered.
Being an hour session, this should be seen as a starting point, with many referrals given to explore LGBTIQA+ patient safety at the attendee’s leisure after the session.
